One of the things that annoy me about the new Hillary Clinton. She made a speech in Iowa today- while there to support Sen Tom Harkins re-election campaign. What annoyed was her scripting how surprised she was when Obama offered her the Sec of State position- when we all know that back in 2008, upon loosing the primary to Obama she actually held-back her public support for him (for several days) while the back room horse trading went-on to secure that Sec of State job- or she was not going to ask her women supporters to get behind the man who defeated her. O.K., fair enough, horse trading happens but why would she add that to her scripted speech- just so she can lie about it? Thats the mystery and the annoyance. Had she been asked, thats one thing, but to set-up the lie- thats the being too coy part that annoys me and others who once supported her.
