One of the things we work hard to do is a food consult. Before I started the job a food consult sounded easy. I mean who would think finding someone a food, or the right food for their pet was such a task, and why is this difficult? Budget: For many people this is one of the largest barriers. Why buy our food, when you can get other food cheaper? Allergies: One of the main reasons people have been guided to our store is for allergy issues. Health issues: Your pet has diabetes, kidney disease, urinary disorders, etc. What kind of foods would be best for those Conditions? Age: What are the needs of a puppy, large breed puppy concerns, to a senior? Activity level: Is your dog bouncing off the walls and needing more calories, or is your dog a couch potato who might need a little less? There are so many individual needs each customer has. Its more like placing the pieces to a very large puzzle and when its all over you feel so satisfied. Especially when your customers come back and tell you how well their pet is doing, or if that food didnt work, we try and work with you until we find one that does.
