One of two beer siblings will be at your local Stone Company Store tomorrow, 10/30. At Pasadena and On Kettner - Stone Pilot: American Style Brown Ale w/Mandarina Bavaria Hops At Escondido, South Park, Oceanside, and Liberty Station - Stone Pilot: American Style Brown Ale w/Citra Hops. Both beers have roasty coffee notes from the dark specialty malts, and both hop varieties deliver citrus and stone fruit. In a side-by-side tasting, though, the Citra-hopped version will be more intense and musky, while the Mandarina Bavaria will be more nuanced and layered. Both are 5.6% ABV. Limit up to 2 liters/customer for growler fills.
