One the difficult things of being in my position(elected) is that people can take cheap shots at me without any type of integrity, context or reason. I am who I am because of my mistakes and struggles as a young man. I never hide from my past or avoided it, in fact I highlight it as a lesson to those I mean to positively influence. As we all have done, some more than others(me), have made mistakes can and will with hard work and perseverance make a change for the better. I serve as that model and gladly take all the heat, back stabs and retribution for all these young men and women(that are our family members) that will be judged, chastised and looked down upon because of things they have done in their past, furthermore, I serve as that model that it can be overcame.....that we will never be good enough in some eyes but more importantly that we make amends with our wrongs and give back because those that have forgiven us, HAVE given us a second. Praying for us all.....
