One thing that boggles my mind about people in the US is the lack of compassion and ignorance, especially many who watch FOX News. Ebola is a very serious bacteria that can ONLY transmitted through blood and bodily fluids. This disease is can NOT be transmitted by air and casual contact, nor has there been any proof that it has. The reason that this bacteria and virus is transmitted greatly in the poor parts of Africa is mainly because in these parts of Africa they pee and shit in the same water as they drink. They do not have clean running water to drink like we do here. The reason why those two nurses were infected, was because (1) they were handling specimens from Duncan and (2) they did not get the proper gear required to protect them. This was acknowledged by the hospital and since then, have taken responsibility for their mistake. So to sum it all up for you... 1. There is no need to ban ALL travels to Africa. In fact, if we do not continue humanitarian efforts in this country, this will have a chilling global effect on the economy. 2. Ebola is not a governmental conspiracy and I think anyone who thinks of such things are just crazy. 3. Obama did NOT purposely create Ebola to kill of the masses. I ask each and everyone of you to educate yourself before you spew nonsense. Stop feeding into the media frenzy and just pray for all those people, especially the 10 in this country who have been exposed. Shame on everyone for being afraid based on ignorance. Continue with your lives, you will be fine.
