One thing that gets me through the tough shit is the fact that I chose this life, I chose my parents and I chose the handicaps that I have to learn to overcome in this life. And the more handicaps we have to overcome, the more powerful the soul that chose to overcome them. There is always a higher purpose for a life and it is our quest to find out what that is. I have wrapped a car around a power pole, I have been poisoned twice, I have had two heart attacks and I have been run over by a logging truck. I am still here overcoming my handicaps. I am 68 years old and I will not stop fighting because I hear young people say life is not worth living and I say IT IS! Because, the harder the fight, the greater the joys, the stronger the love, the greater the compassion. And you, yes you reading this, you are one powerful old soul and a warrior. You will not go quietly into the night. You will go out in a blaze of glory.... and I do not been BOOM!... I mean that one day your light will shine to lead the way for others who are lost. I believe in you and the power of the light that is waiting to shine through your eyes. Shine on and the rest of life will take care of itself.
