One week post chemo and I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Physically, I still have a long way to go, but psychologically I am in excellent shape. The thought that I dont have to go through the pain anymore is super exciting. Sometimes we can get a bit complacent in life, take things and people for granted. Im here to tell you that there is nothing like a diagnosis of cancer to nip that in the bud. You emerge from all that pain and fear a different person. To everyone who has sent me personal messages of love and good wishes and some excellent advice, I thank you. To each and everyone of you who have held my hand during this journey, I could not have done it without you. I am now looking forward. I am presuming that after all this is over I will be clear of cancer, but I will never take anything for granted again because you never know if or when it will come back and bite you on the bum. Love you all xxxxxxx
