One wonders why some stars with long, illustrious careers are able to maintain and move forward their success and why some artists are simply satisfied to bask in the glory of the past. Many artists rely on their material from the past and make little effort to develop and move forward the creative forces that originally drove their success. Sometimes older material doesnt sync with our dynamic times; stars of the past do not make their material relevant today to develop newer generations of fans.
