One year ago today I had a regular mammogram that showed a suspicious area requiring biopsy. Four days later I was face down on a table for two hours getting a needle core biopsy. Results positive for breast cancer. Now a year later after surgery and six weeks of radiation, I went tubing down the Chestatee River - first time ever. Thank you to all of my friends and family who helped me through this journey.
