One year ago today Lucie had her last dose of radiation. We had went home the day before and traveled up to Edinburgh in the morning to Clic Villa where wed stayed for the 6 weeks while Lucie got radiotherapy. We said goodbye to the lovely ladies who run clic villa then the lovely Bill from Cclasp picked us up to take us to The Western. Lucie was so brave throughout her treatment and the ladies who did the radiotherapy were absolute stars, they were always happy and although Lucie wasnt overly keen on the treatment she enjoyed seeing Laura and Elaine. We told Lucie that as a special treat wed stop in by Toys R Us on the way home so she could spend her money and vouchers. I think in total she had about £400 to spend and she had an absolute blast. I really thought Id have to get the bus home as she had that much stuff but we squeezed it all in, just. Love you to the moon and back my wee beastie. Xxx
