One year ago today, on what we now call Pink Friday, I woke up to read some chatter on Facebook. I got a message from a friend that said, Welcome to the Pink Side. I didnt know what she meant. Then, I read the email that would change my life: Slumber Parties had been sold to Pure Romance. The day before, I received a box of catalogs and order forms because I had decided to re-invent my business. I had put seven and half years of my life into Slumber Parties and to say that I was confused is an understatement. I think most of us went through all 5 stages of grief that day.We leaned on each other, laughed, cried, yelled, screamed and came through it relatively unscathed. I am thankful to Kim Henagan Brecheen for having the forethought to make sure that we were left in good hands. Here we are, a year later, and Im SO fortunate to have Pure Romance in my life. This company has put more money in my pocket, encouraged me to build a wonderful team and recognized my abilities. I get an additional check each month--just for doing my job! I love my old Slumber Sisters and I cannot tell you how warm and welcoming the existing Pure Romance consultants here in AZ (and worldwide) have been! Without these women, itd be hard to get through some days! I love my job!
