One year and two months ago I received a phone call from a man that said that he had received my name as a recommendation from a friend at Fort Bragg. He and his wife wanted to see a house for sale, were not happy with their current agent (no agency agreement signed) and were searching for a new agent. I told them that I would be happy to show them the house. We set an appointment for later that day and I showed up a few minutes early as I always do. This man got out of his truck and said, Wow, you are actually here on time. Thats a change. He had a lot of questions and gave me a good idea of what they were looking for, but was very hesitant to commit. He had high expectations and wanted to make sure that I could meet them. Fair enough. Throughout the last year, we have listed and successfully sold his home, looked at hundreds of homes (or so it seems) and finally settled on new construction with a custom builder. Today we close on a wonderful home that is as close to perfect as we could get it for him, his wife and son. They are a wonderful family and I wish them many years of happiness in their forever home! And that is why I love my job!
