Oneness Tell Us Jesus Is The Father They Also Say Jesus Is The Son, Yet They Deny The Father Is The Son. Oneness by the scripture Isa 9:6 tell us that Jesus is the Father, at the same time though they deny this Son in Isa 9:6 is the Father. In doing so they deny their own saying according to Isa 9:6. Isa 9:6 tells us the Son given is called the everlasting Father according to their proof scripture. First let me point out this is not my belief, there are other translations to Isa 9:6 that do not point to Jesus being God or Father. Jewish Homes Important Analysis Lets consider another Jewish source for yet another view. One Jewish commentator -- Jewish Home.org. Notice “or Mighty Hero” instead of Mighty God, and “Eternal Patron” instead of eternal Father, with a definition of Patron. Isa 9:6 For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us, and the authority was placed upon his shoulder, and [he] called his name: Wondrous Adviser, Mighty Hero, Eternal Patron, Ruler of Peace; Patron: • (n.) One who protects, supports, or countenances; a defender. • (n.) A man of distinction under whose protection another person placed himself. However Isa 9:6 is the main scripture where Oneness say Jesus is the Father, because Jesus is called the Father. Notice though that it is the Son called the Father in their Isa 9:6. So they have a hard time denying the Son is the Father. Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Despite that they do deny the Son is the Father, and speak against what the Son is called in their own proof scripture, if they didnt they would run into all sorts of problems when Jesus the Son says he did not come of himself, but was sent. In order for Jesus to be the Father, he needs to have come of himself, of course, saying he sent himself, is the same as saying he came of himself. Yet scripture denies that, which shows us without doubt Jesus is not the Father, anymore than the Son is the Father. In order that Jesus be the Father he would have to have come of himself, yet scripture tells us he did not come of himself so he cannot be the Father. So either way they are in conflict with scripture, whether they say the Son is the Father, or they say the Son is not the Father, they run against Bible scripture. Jesus Quoted: Joh 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. Joh 7:28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. Joh 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
