Only a week to go until the start of my channel swim ! Between 8th Sept and 1st Dec I shall be swimming the length of the channel .That will be 1416 lengths of Hutton Moor pool. My motivation for doing this ? Firstly to raise awareness and funds for people who have been paralysed by spinal cord injures, who are not as lucky as the rest of us, and who need help to lead the independent lives that we all tend to take for granted. Secondly, as a challenge to myself to lose weight and get fitter, so I can at last keep up with those two boys of Keren Tyler .
