She can have form (rupa) and name (nama), or name without form; and as we worship Her in various aspects, we can rise to Pure Being, having neither form nor name..Devi is avidya because she binds and vidya because she liberates... Throughout her different manifestations and phases, she remains the one true Goddess, Shakti, Primordial and life energy itself. Kali is shakti creating the three gunas: Sattwas, Tamas and Rajas. She plays (lila) through these principals..Kali is the supreme devi who is the root of all great knowledges. She is both space and time and beyond all these..She destroys time, is time, and the night of eternity..She is pure sattwas, pure spirit.. Shri Bhairava said, Parameshwari Maha devi, like light is inherent in the Sun and Ghee is inherent in milk, So I, The Natha, is present everywhere in you. You bestow the four aims if mankind. You are as dear to me as life. One who recites the 100 names of devi with devotion gains the results of of hundred of million of Kali Pujas. He becomes happy in this life and afterwards he attains union with Devi,Param Bramha..She is the bodily form of Sat-Chit-Ananda..and she is formless, Nirakar Bramha..
