||Open RP|| || I apologize in advance for the wall of the text but I have really wanted to do this role play for some time and I thought a new group would be a good place to start it. Alright. Lets do this || I have a few requirements first: ·nothing lower than Para/Semi-Para (This means 3+ lines), ·Be Literate, ·No text talk or action marks -~*, ·Minimal misspellings, ·Use quotations when your character is talking. ·I will not tolerate God moding or power play. ·Include picture and a info like mine for your character. || Now the about: This will be a high school supernatural role play (meaning your character can have an ability but, they are limited to one element i.e. fire. water, earth, air, lightning, light, light, darkness, ect. If youre not sure just ask. Your character can be anything so long as its not OP. The more creative the better ;) Also the school is a school for the Enlightened or those with supernatural abilities. The name of the school is Xions Academy for the Enlightened Name: Jade Fairchild Gender: Female Species: Human Mage Element: Lightning Age: 17 Eye Color: Turquoise Height: 54 Abilities: Low level lightning (Small to moderate static discharges), not much control Personality Summary: Jade is quiet, shy, and usually keeps to herself. She doesnt have any friends and shes always in the back of the class. But she loves books and learning. || Starter: Jade sat in her usual seat at the back of the class room. It was fourth period which meant she was in elemental mastery. This was her favorite class because this was actually something she was good at. She had been able to summon her element since she was six. But she had only been able to been able to create small, short-lived flashes of lightning. But she still loved it. At the moment she was arcing lightning off of the end of an unbent paper clip as she did most periods. She loved to practice her element it made her feel powerful and in her life it was the only thing that made her feel powerful. She loved the feeling in her finger tips that the electricity gave her. It was white and it had always been white. She had never understood why but she wasnt the only one with color specific elements. Some of her class mates had them. Like the boy to her left. He produced fire of the deepest shade of purple imaginable. Jade!! Said Professor Trim in a slightly raised voice. Jade looked up quickly, hiding the paper clip in her shirt pocket. Yes Professor Trim?? she said politely. Will you kindly pay attention Ms. Fairchild. This is important. What Im about to show you is called energy manipulation. As I am sure all of you have discovered, your abilities have limits like how long you can sustain a manifestation of your element and how powerful said manifestation is. With energy manipulation you can channel larger amounts of energy therefore allowing for longer and more powerful manifestations of your element. Jade she said looking over at her. Jade slid down in her seat as the rest of the class looked back at her as well. Since you seem so keen to practice your element would you come up here?? I would like to give the class a demonstration of what energy manipulation can do Reluctantly she got up from her seat and headed to the front of the class. Professor Trim stood there looking down at her from her towering height of six foot two. I want you to direct your element at this. she said, indicating the solid gold rod that was attached to a rubber stand. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and let it out to help calm herself. Opening her eyes, she raised her hand and pointed at the rod. A small arc of white lightning shot from the tips of her fingers and connected with the tip of the rod then disappeared. And now Ill show you energy manipulation to inrease that to a least double. Jade, close your eyes and look inside yourself for a white spark. Jade followed her instructions, closing her eyes and attempting to search for that spark. I--How do I look for it?? she asked quietly. Leaning closer to her Trim said Imagine your mind as a forest. Now look for the spark in the forest. Screwing up her eyes in concentration Jade imagined the forest and she saw it in her minds eye. She looked around. Nothing. No spark.After several minutes of searching, when she was just about to give up, out of the corner of her eye she saw it. A bright white spark of pure energy. I see it. she said. Her voice sounded far away, like it was at the end of a long tunnel and she was at the other end. Good. Now reach out and grab it. Trims voice echoed the same way hers had. She reached out and grasped the spark. Instantly warmth and energy flooded through her body and she opened her eyes.
