Open heart surgery update- just talked to my surgeon my surgery is at 7:30 am tomorrow it will take 4-5hrs to complete. Im having both valves replaced mitrial and atrial. There is a ton of complications due to my LAM DISEASE. The surgery its self has a 10% chance of killing me. After surgery any blood probs like stroke, kidney infection, blood clots ect have a 50/50 chance of killing me. I will be on blood thinner shots everyday for life. I will have a foot long incision down my chest. if it gets infected it will spread directly to my heart and infect the new valves causing them to shut down and I will die and CPR wont bring me back. Its so much to take in all at once.I still havent had the chance to accept my genetic disorder now I have all of this on my plate. I had a bad anxiety attack when the surgeon left so now they r giving me IF atavan to keep me calm so I dont pop a LAM lung cyst. If you plan on visiting today please dont come in for a few hours I need to nap cuz Im not scared or in pain while Im sleeping. I have to get up at 3 to have my extra IV and pic line put in so wait till then to come in. Thanks for all the good vibes and prayers, I need all the support I can get during this time of need. I will be in a medical coma for 3-4 days after surgery so dont freak out if Im not online till Mon Ill just be sleeping thru the worst of the pain so I dont have to suffer anymore than I already have.
