Open letter to The Lord..... Lord help us to remain humble, help us to continue to support the vision you placed upon the heart of our Pastor for the childrens ministry. Teach us to respect authority. Aid us in understanding that the business of the church cannot be ran like corporate America. Guide us in being fair, create an atmosphere where we work together in unity. Keep us focused on the greater purpose.which is...saved childre.......and help us to accept our mistakes, own them and then move on beyond them. Lord We need your word now more than ever before. When people choose to leave, let them go and let us accept it and encourage them with love. Lift us up from complacency and reduce our egos, and close-mindedness. Let us realize that we are each valuable and rich with resources. Let us do something that is integral to our growth and success, trust in you. Lord touch the heart, mind, motives ,intentions, and soul of each individual teacher both present and future and remind us that this assignment cannot be taken lightly and that we must embrace the fact that we are leading and teaching your precious commodity........ children. In advance, I thank you for hearing my plea. In advance ,I thank you for the teachers that you are molding and shaping for service. In advance thank you for the rekindling of love your people feel for ministry. I understand that my frustration isnt one of worries or disappointment but rather a frustration of not settling for just giving you the rest but giving you the best of me in service. I realize that Sharla and I arent worthy of this assignment but I recognize that with you we can do anything but fail. I ask that you create a genuine family through this ministry. Give us some support behind the scenes. I thank you for the ministry leaders and volunteers. Lastly, Im grateful and in awe that as we or if we just walk with you, that behind the scenes you are preparing us for everything we lack. I love you God.
