Opera Singer @MeherPavri to perform at #ANOKHI11 I am thrilled to be performing in such a beautiful space at the ANOKHI Awards Show. Cant wait; its going to be such a great evening! - Meher Pavri BIO: Canadian opera singer Meher Pavri recently received her bachelor of music at the University of Western Ontario and was given the opportunity to sing for American classical singer Shirlee Emmons and fellow Canadian tenor Ben Heppner. Pavri was born and raised in Canada, but very proud of her Indian heritage. She was crowned Miss India Canada in 2007 where she wowed the judges with her classically trained voice and since then shes received several opportunities to perform. Her past performances include Songfest at Pepperdine University, the Summer Songs and Scenes program of the Queen of Puddings opera company in Toronto and most recently in Handels Messiah with the Against the Grain Theatre. Also working as an actress and model Pavri has established herself in the film and television industry in Canada. She also gives back to her community by performing charity concerts and she’s a yoga instructor in Toronto where she currently resides.
