Operation: Bring joy to children has been completed!!! My brothers and I, got toys, educational material and baby supplies for a hospital with special needs children. Theres a very sentimental reason as to why my brothers and I do this and we havent stopped ever since. We decided to make a quick clip of our journey. We recorded one of the cashiers that seen what we bought - her reaction was priceless - as well as the nurses in the hospital. They dont allow pictures to be taken of the children due to confidentiality. So Ill tell you what happen... We met a little girl who only speaks sign language and still remembered us from last year. We played guitar for her, performed songs and even some magic. Her reaction was amazing and something Ill take with me. She told us she loved us in sign language and thank you - many times. We also sat and talked with with a 19 year old boy who was laid in bed and we connected with him on a level that is beyond words. We encouraged him, made him laugh and talked for a very long time about his life, future and he got to know us more. He was so excited to meet us because all the nurses told him we were coming. Glad we didnt dissapoint. We even exchanged personal info, and became instant friends. Lots of these children have been through very difficult times and to bring smiles to their faces means the world to my brothers and I. My younger brother, has a profound understanding of what it means to give, he gave quite a lot to benefit these beautiful and wonderful children - which Im very proud of. Overall, I walked out humbled, happy and knowing that we made a difference in the lives of people/children that really needed it - I thank God for the opportunity and privilege it was to serve others. Most importantly, the moments weve shared with them is what makes it all worth it - you cant see them happy and not walk away with a profound insight on life that is utterly esoteric. Great things happen when you give. Ive learned that a few years ago.
