Oppositors to the transfer of the Philippine Childrens Medical Center wins this round. The next round will be on what modernization would mean and how that is mixed with commercialization and privatization. We used to bring my sons there when they were young so I am interested in the outcome of this controversy. I do support modernization, and in that context some but not a lot of commercialization and privatization might be inevitable.
