Ordinance? Why? What is hurry? Discuss in Parliament and decide. Why conviction of 2 years and above. A public servant becomes disqualified even on conviction to pay a fine of Rs. 50 and above. Then why discrimination. MPs & MLAs are also public servants. Will voters be ever wise not to elect a criminal. Going to jail has till now remained a preferential qualification of a neta. But now should the EC not print convictions and criminality of a candidate in a column on ballot paper or EVM for the awareness of a voter. More later.........
