Oregon law improves PA practice The Portland Business Journal reports on a new law that eliminates road blocks for PAs to care for patients. AAPA and the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants worked with local media to promote legislation that makes it easier to practice in the state. ow.ly/vLPpu David Green, PA-C, president of the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants, said the new law is “a solid step toward the day when PAs, like other medical providers, will practice medicine without the necessity of frequently clarifying their role and responsibility in the health of their patients to those who interpret statutes, rules or policies through different lenses.”
