Originally I felt challenged to come up with new music based on what MM wrote last night. I went out and found something new, but it turns out that she was joking. Since you got something pretty new last night, Ill just play something old again. Ill save my new song for another night. This song isnt super old. It was released in 2005. I think I first heard it in an iTunes commercial. Fans of Veronica Mars and Greys Anatomy could also be familiar with it. Besides being on the show, No Sleep Tonight also made it onto the Veronica Mars soundtrack. There appears to be a video that mashes this one with Veronica Mars, but the quality was pretty lousy. I havent seen the recently released Veronica Mars movie, so I dont know if it made it into that too. If youre wondering what happened to The Faders, they broke up about a year after the song came out. They werent what I would call a real band anyway. It looks like Polydore Records just put three girls together to have an all female rock band. They were barely together for two years. I had actually forgotten about this song, but I heard it on tv the other day. I was online on my MacBook with HBO on in the background. The movie Shes the Man came on, and this was playing during the opening. My wife had been out running errands, so I rewound the DVR so I could remind her of the song. She was more concerned with why I was watching an Amanda Bynes movie. Im pretty sure that my excuse fell on deaf ears.
