Otley Town Under 15’s Pre season summary Otley Town under 15’s have been warming up for the new campaign with a series of friendly games over the last couple of weeks. Having been promoted last season, the side will start in division B of the Harrogate league with manager Kai Arter and new assistant Andy Colburn targeting promotion again. After a defeat to high flying Farsley Celtic, in which Otley put up a spirited and determined performance, games against fellow division b teams, Ilkley and Pool resulted in two solid victories. Performances were stressed by the manager as more important than the results, and in both games Otley played some nice possession football and the performances were good with the players adapting well to the new formations being tried. Ilkley were beaten 5-2 at home, before a victory 10-0 against Pool. In both games, Otley created a lot of chances and with a little more care and luck in front of goal could have had more goals. The new league season kicks off on Sunday with an away trip to Boroughbridge. Manager Kai Arter is still looking to add to the squad in specific positions.
