Our CDART partners, the Salvation Army are seeking some help this week through the note below. If you are able to help, please PM me the date and time you are confirmed for: We respectfully request your help next Thursday, August 1st at the Resiliency Centre at 1480 Sutherland Avenue as we transition the donated goods for the fire victims to another location. Here’s what we need: Day - Thursday, August 1st Hours – Shifts available between 9 am to 8 pm at 3 -4 hour stints Roles- · DRIVERS - We need 6 drivers spaced at 2 per four hour shift. It would be especially helpful if the drivers have trucks as we just have 2 available at the Church. · LIFTERS – We need 6 lifters spaced at 2 per four hour shift who can help lift dressers/couches etc. · PACKERS – Folks to pack up housewares etc (approx. 2 -4 per four hour shift) · SORTERS – Folks to un-pack housewares etc (approx. 2 – 4 per four hour shift) as we set up in our new space.
