Our Captain Swampy has done it again...he headed out to test the new teasers made by Luke Scicluna from 3MTA3, just in the bay to see how it swam...he headed out, dumped the gear at point Cartwright and headed off in a NE direction, steamed for a while then ran into heaps of coral spawn so he did a u-bolt and headed SSE then BOOM one little black (est 10kg) ripped straight through the spread straight at the new sun tile teaser with just the tip of his dorsal fin out of the water then, rachet, and yep he was on !!! The second fish in the spread was hungry...Estimate 25kg measured by a Swivels Original-Fish Measure hook removed from mouth no bleeding and healthy as swam off hard to join the rest of his little buddies !!! The battle lasted approximately 40min on 8kg gear, an Swampy said (not in his words) that it was quite a mission goin solo in a 3.8 meter tinnie, especially when the wind picked up !!! Our new wind-ons made by Clayton Black work an absolute treat !!! So we are all so proud of our Captain and now extremely excited for little black marlin season that is now here !!! Fish took a Pakula lure too !!!
