Our Daily Tea - Non-Compliance: I Will not DontComply Having declared our independence based on the principle of God-given liberty, the founders of America then set out to make a Constitution. That body of law stands explicitly on the foundation of the Declaration of Independence. It explicitly codifies the full depth of God-given unalienable rights expressed in the Declaration. Among those is the right to keep and bear arms. The Second Amendment provides an immutable guarantee of our right to protect our families and our property. God declares it as greater than a “right.” He says it is a responsibility. The right of self-defense goes beyond robbers and murderers; it includes the right to protect ourselves against the robbers and murderers in political power. In “Non-Compliance,” I make my own declaration of independence from “the man” who sits in the Oval Office.
