Our Governors visit both our Connecticut and Missouri locations this summer! On Friday, July 25th 2014, Our Connecticut Store had the honor of receiving Governor Malloys visit. We were also pleased to welcome the Governors delegation. The guests were offered a tour of the Comstock buildings, conducted by Irina Stoenescu, the manager of the operation. The Governor s support for GMO labeling and offering consumers access to more comprehensive information about their food was of utmost relevance to the business and philosophy. Earlier this summer, here in Missouri we were delighted to have a return visit of the First Lady, this time along with Governor Nixon! Our first family are a delightful couple and Mrs Nixon is a passionate gardener and pure food enthusiast. She is a long time customer of ours and it is always great to talk gardening with her! We were please to share with the governor our concerns for the food supply and also had lunch at our onsite restaurant with us.
