Our Lord Jesus Christ, in this great Sermon on the Mount,Jesus put before His audience the choices which every man must make.He said,Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to, Luke 13:24. And not only the narrow gate,you have to choose between two masters,He said, you will either love one or hate the other. Again,you have to choose between two spiritual fathers,God and devil.Which one will you serve? He said in John 8:44 that "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies". Again,He said that you have to choose between two destinies,Heave and hell.God, as a good Father, commanded through Moses that we make the right choice when he said, “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” (Deut. 30:19-20). As far as God is concerned, these are the choices we have to make: we can either choose life or death.Which way are you? Choose life.God. bless.you.
