Our Scripture passage for today is: Luke 13:10-14 (NIV) 10 On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, 11 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” 13 Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God. 14 Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue leader said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.” Pastor Wayne’s prayer for today: O God of the Sabbath… we thank You for the gift of healing. We thank You that the healing You provide may come at anytime and in any way, shape, or form You see fit. We accept the freedom from our infirmities, whatever those might be, as part of Your perfect plan, Your perfect purpose, and Your perfect provision for our lives. We thank you for the peace and the patience too as we wait upon You O Lord for the healing that You are pouring out even mow into our midst. Open our eyes this day & everyday that we might see and receive the healing stream as it flows through our lives. We pray in the name of the Great Healer, Jesus. Amen.
