Our Sydney Trip, Day 1- horrible takeoff from Bris (jetstar) the plane was making horrible noises - not normal Im sure. Great landing tho, travel from airport to central station which cost $36 for 3 stops holy crap and from there, OMG we were lost and walking around for about 3 hours, the light rail we needed to be on was not working, they told us to get free bus, yeah but where???? No one spoke English ( sure we only went to Sydney not overseas) we walked and walked and walked with our luggage and Jaynie I think packed the kitchen sink lol. Finally gave up and paid for a bus that took us close to where we were going still had to walk. Yay finally at hotel, checked in with friendly staff, got to our room and collapsed on bed, yay Sydney here we are. After a little while decided to walk around for a little while, get in lift and yep you guessed it we got stuck in it, after a brief freak out we were out and about in Sydney, thats day 1, keep tuned for day 2.
