Our Third Annual Womens Winterfest is THIS Thursday night from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at LaMalfa. Womens Winterfest is an event for women featuring the best holiday foods from the countys various local restaurants, bakeries and hotels including Match Works Tavern, Old Carolina BBQ, Wild Goose, Twisted Paddy, Smokey Bones, Aladdins Eatery, Red Hawk Grille, Confectionary Cupboard, Great Harvest Bread, Di Bellas Subs, Quail Hollow Country Club, Primozz Pizza, Gartman Bakery, Market Spice and Joyful Living. The event will also feature more than 40 raffle and silent auction items including artwork from The Fine Arts Association and Gallery One, home furnishings from Pummels, Metro Home and Sheraton Furniture, handbags, holiday décor, and gift cards. All proceeds from the event go to womens programs in Lake County. The event is the perfect opportunity to get together with friends and other women to enjoy holiday food samples, music and décor while giving back to the community. Students from the Brown Aveda Institute will also be offering beauty treatments at no cost. New this year, Macys will be on site for a holiday fashion show and will offer makeup sessions for guests.
