Our Woodie Bear left us today for Rainbow Bridge...... We have known for weeks that this day was coming & we just kept hoping he would make the decision, so we wouldnt have to make it for him. His body failed him 1st & his mind quickly followed... but his heart did not want to leave us (we believe he was holding on just for us.) We had planned the best we could to make this day as easy for him as possible. We had already prepaid our Vet & got sedatives to make sure there would be no fear when it was his time.... We laid him in his favorite sleeping spot & fed him his sedatives in breaded pork chop pieces (one of his favs) & then even let him have the bone (something we normally dont do.) He was in LA-LA Land before hubby carried him to the truck for his final Vet visit. There was no fear when he left us to join the rest of our original pack of 5 and now is waiting at Rainbow Bridge with Jinxie, Pepper, Chickie & Nino for us to come join them.......... He is survived by Mom & Dad, a house full of feline heat seekers (who already miss his furry warmth) & his baby brother Blu Boy who seems lost without him. He will be missed by all of his family & friends, most of which had the chance to say good-bye in their own special way. Thank you to everyone for their support in this time of sadness.... it is greatly appreciated!!
