Our brother from the USA whom we advised yesterday sent this as a follow up, read and see if your opinion changes: Many people tends to blame me or thinks the curse is on me. I did not marry my American wife for a green card. I already had a green card when I married her and I was very successful in my profession. I was working for the U.S. Government. However, because I was a professional and working in a very sensitive government department, I was very conservative. I looked for a Nigerian wife for over ten years after obtaining my P.hD. Most Nigerian women I met were more interested in dope dealers and flashy party goers who will spray them money at parties. I never sprayed at parties. In fact, I dont like parties. I will go only if the celebrant is very close or the occasion is important and I have chaired several Nigerian independence parties all accross U.S. I treated my ex like a princess. She was the envy of the town She filed for divorce so that she can cash out and she got $1 million settlement but I got the house, the children, my business and I still have millions left and making good money everyday. Most Nigerian politicians are my friends. I am very passionate and kind to everyone. I have four children and they adore me. My ex girl friends from 20, 30 something years ago still calls and visits sometimes even though they are married now to powerful successful men back in Nigeria. I say this in order to make a point that I do know how to treat and please a lady. Even those who said they dont want to get married, they still want to just be friends. I cant pretend not to have money. Everybody in my circle in Nigeria knows me. Every powerful politician in Nigeria knows me by my first name. I intend to run for an elective office in 2015 and that is why I am determined to marry a Nigerian. Does this change your advice for him, and more importantly what do you think is the way forward for him. ...DA...
