Our classmate of the week is Ezizze Davis Foxworth! Following high school, Ezizze graduated from the Univ. of SC in Dec. of 1998, as the university’s overall English Department Scholar Graduate of the Year. She then received a full legal scholarship and landed a law clerk position with the SC Attorney General’s Office. After she graduated from USC’s School of Law in May of 2002, Ezizze accomplished her life-long goal of becoming an attorney and earning her Doctor of Law degree. She immediately returned to Loris and accepted a position with the Law Office of Jeffcoat, Pike & Nappier working mostly out of the firm’s Myrtle Beach location. After being with the firm for only 4 years, she was offered, and surprisingly declined, a coveted partnership and shareholder position which is usually presented to attorneys after seven plus years of practice. After the passing of Ezizze’s father, she felt his encouragement and planted her legal roots in Loris by establishing the Law Office of Ezizze Davis Foxworth, LLC in November of 2007. The firm has been blessed from Day 1. The Chamber of Commerce selected Ezizze as the 2012 Robert Brooks Entrepreneur of the Year for establishing and maintaining a successful business in the City of Loris. Ezizze has been married for 11 years to Michael Foxworth and their marriage has been blessed with the loves of their lives, Savannah (4) and Logan (2). They are faithful members of Monument of Faith Christian Ministries in Marion, SC.
