Our daughter Kylee and her LOGOS (our mid-week intergenerational - TopicsExpress

Our daughter Kylee and her LOGOS (our mid-week intergenerational ministry here at CMPC) classmate Zoe wrote the following as sermon ideas for me, then read them at the closing last night: We have all waited for someone or something important. We wait for someone to respond to an important message. At the end of LOGOS us kids wait to find our parents. But there was one time we waited for something amazingly important. We waited for a month until our Savior, Jesus Christ, was finally born. We call this month of waiting Advent. During this month everyone waited while we felt what the candles we have in our church represent--hope that Jesus will be born, peace that Jesus Christ brings us, joy that our savior will come, and love for baby Jesus, our king. Weve all waited for something, but remember how we waited for Jesus, the most important thing we have waited for. This is one proud dad and pastor!
