Our deepest appreciation to all for your beautiful condolence messages. It is with your caring thoughts and through our faith that we will all be together again in Heaven that we are able to begin our healing. While we had always believed that our home was a fairly quiet one considering there were 3 dogs, we have learned how deafening the silence is now. I know that it is too soon to expect anything different but we find ourselves calling out their names, grabbing 3 bowls at mealtime and continuing to step over the areas that they claimed as their own spots on the floor. The worst pain right now is to witness Joys mourning. She sits and looks around the room and then whimpers. To my utter amazement Jack said to me today; I think before too long we need to get a playmate for Joy. While I know that he is looking for a quick fix for his baby girl .... I reminded him that she needs to go through her own grieving. Our role right now is to just be there for her. Again, thank you for your support to our family.
