Our first driven day of the season got off to a spectacular start with nearly 50 partridge shot in the High Way Man our first drive of the day. Tom Woods and his team of beaters and flag men produced some exciting and testing birds. For the second and third drive the guns were placed in the mountain valley while the birds were driven from the top of the mountain. The Machine Gun drive produced some of the most testing shots of the day, one gun described the birds as orgasmic another saying that they were the finest driven partridge he had ever seen!!. After lunch the day concluded with a fourth drive on duck which once again exceeded all expectations. A big thank you to all members of the beating and picking up teams who helped ensure the day ran smoothly and a huge congratulations to the management of Glennoo Game Sports who ensured that the first driven day of the season got off to a flying start...
