Our friend Kay is going to Broadway! Her fundraiser was successful...here is her response, I cant even begin to describe the feelings I have about this whole trip. The fact that friends from so long ago rallied to put this together - and that it happened so FAST! - completely boggles my mind. This has brought me so much joy, encouragement, and LOVE that it makes each day warmer and brighter! I know as I head in to chemo treatment #2 on June 2nd, the thought of all of you wonderful people and the Broadway Trip will make it all a little easier this time. Special thanks to a few of you angels for your hard work on organizing this trip for us: Jeanne Schalko Fransway, Helen House, Deanna Mahler Egan, Julie Mansoor, Julie Letkiewicz, John Hoffstatter, and all the others who donated money or expertise. I dont even know everyone who helped! But George, John, and I thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for being the kind, generous, and loving people you are. God bless you all!!!
