Our guests at the December Gallery Hop voted, and decided The ARTery was worthy of the “Best of the Hop” title! The ARTery is a staple in all of our Gallery Hop events, and always go above and beyond for the sake of the Hop. They are also major contributors to The District’s “Dirty Art” event. The District could not be more grateful for all of the support they provide. The ARTery opened its doors in February 2009 sharing space with MidCoast Fine Arts Gallery West. What make the gallery so unique is that it is completely artist owned and operated. The gallery showcases paintings, photography, jewelry, ceramics, and home furnishings. Their no-commission policy has attracted more than fifty artists to the gallery. Every month The ARTery hosts pARTies that feature music, refreshments, and the company of your favorite artists. These pARTies are hosted with MidCoast Gallery West. The month of January’s pARTy is Friday, January 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This will be the opening reception for Carol Steinmetz & Bill Marsoun. Bill was one of the featured artists in Gallery Hop, located at The Quad City Botanical Center.
