Our mission team returned from Nicaragua safe and sound on Tuesday. During our eight days in Nicaragua, we: (1) helped provide running water and electricity to a rural public school (El Boneño). (2) set up the infrastructure for internet connectivity in the “computer lab” at Ebenezer Christian School. (3) helped provide a gathering place (open air pavilion) for a church of 200 persons (San Carlos). (4) participated in the delivery and setup of two bio-sand water filters (Brook Hill’s Endowment Committee has sponsored this project). (5) shared the good news of Jesus at Jinotepe jail, distributing soap, toilet paper and food to the prisoners. (6) provided 5-6 refurbished laptop computers to pastors and to Ebenezer Christian School. (7) helped students with English and Math at Ebenezer Christian School. (8) delivered financial support for seven churches and two schools. (9) worshiped with Christians in San Antonio, Palo de Pan, Buena Vista and San Marcos. (10) prayed with and encouraged Christians individually and in small groups. (11) participated in feeding programs at three sites. (12) gave away three Brook Hill prayer shawls. -- and more!
