Our new friends at Alison Animal Hospital have accepted their first SCAR Critical Care Program patient...Captain Jack! While he is now in the care of the loving folks at Alison Animal Hospital, Captain Jack recently suffered a huge loss...his owner died. Found by the postman, he was brought to SCAR. It was apparent that Captain Jack needed immediate medical attention for his eyes and he was taken to Alison Animal Hospital. Upon exam, he appeared to be suffering from trauma to the left eye. His right eye, while damaged, has limited sight. To keep that eye functioning at the best capacity, it would be in his best interest to go for a consult with a board certified opthamologist. Dr. Klein and staff have graciously started a fundraising campaign for Captain Jack, we ask you to please consider a donation to help this beautiful boy get the surgery he needs and the best chance to retain some sight.
