Our politicians are corrupt. Our police officers are corrupt. Our bureaucrats are corrupt. Our Judiciary is corrupt. We cannot change anything. How many times have we said this to ourselves and to others? The truth is, for every corrupt politician, officer and judge, we have hundreds of upright, honest ones who stand upto the corrupt, sometimes even risking there lives, to ensure that the right is done. District Magistrate B. Chandrakala is one such person. As DM of Mathura, she displayed exemplary work ethics, working on developmental projects on a time-bound basis, and ensuring that there was prompt action on complaints received at her office. When she refused to bend over backwards to unreasonable requests from politicians of the ruling party, she was transferred to Bulandshahar . She continues her excellent work in Bulandshahar, keeping track of government projects, and ensuring that unscupulous contractors at kept at bay. This is a video of one such instance. So, lets keep our chronic negativity away for sometime, and appreciate the wonderful work that thousands of such dedicated officers are doing for the nation.
