Our prayer journey takes us on Monday to Latin America. Our prayers are making a difference. An excerpt from my book, A Global Call to Prayer: There is life in the prayer closet that prepares us to live outside the prayer closet, to love others as Jesus loves. He prayed we would be a people united, that we would be one even as He and the Father are one (John 17). He gave us one commandment: love one another as I have loved you. Where there is harmony and unity there is answered prayer. We have been born for such a time as this…a time when the followers of Jesus are coming together to pray in agreement with the Word of God. My prayer is for the Father to open our eyes and give us insight into His purposes and plans—to help us see beyond our natural eyes. Where do we go from here? Lord Jesus, help us to fulfill Your Word and reach the many souls waiting for the united prayers of Your people! Let us be the glorious church of salt and light: “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Eph. 5:27). The nations of our world need healing today.
