I cant speak highly enough of Kelly and the team at A Spell For The Unwell; I heard back within hours of my first email, and the kindness and resolve to help me was immediately apparent. From ordering me needed items to planned help with prescription costs, this charity, which has literally only been running for a few weeks, has astounded me with their genuine care and desire to help people - something that I have struggled to find anywhere else. With standard benefits like Personal Independence Payment and Income Support proving to be closed doors to someone trying to remain at work whilst living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, A Spell For The Unwell has offered me a much needed and appreciated light after stumbling around in the dark for so long. What amazes me the most is that Kelly has founded this charity, and is working so hard to help as many other people as she can, in spite of her own ongoing health problems; rather than giving in to despair and hopelessness, she is showing a strength of character and heart that very few people possess, and inspiring us all along the way. With the right support and awareness, A Spell For The Unwell is surely going to make a lot of peoples lives that little bit better, and, if the standard of help and communication in these early days is anything to go by, it is destined to become a hugely recognised and successful charity in the coming months.
