Our socio-political inclination is to cast aspersions and destroy - TopicsExpress

Our socio-political inclination is to cast aspersions and destroy our political enemies character, whether baseless or not. Unfortunately, I feel what we need is to focus our energies on finding the most qualified leader in 2016 to become president of this nation. Many of them lack moral ascendancy already. We are too false in our humility that we distaste leaders who publicize their credentials, instead of concentrating on putting down the other man. The world is evolving. The more than 70 percent young voters of this country, I think, want to know whether you are competent and deserving to lead this country and not whether your opponent is not. It is time - in this Information Age - to have access to all data showing who these leaders are. What are their stand and strategies towards innovation, access to quality education and skills training, how we can ensure timely and relevant social services, business development and entrepreneurship, how we can boost our trade promotions to capture more share of the global market, how we can make effective our criminal and justice system, how we can have a 20-year national masterplan - projecting population growth and designing ways to address problems and concerns due to a growing population. Our leaders are so focused on mudslinging and political bickerings that we do not even know what they are there for.
