Our vehicles tend to collect a sort of, oh, lets call it a patina. Most of our time in them is spent hauling gear to one location or another, then riding back at a time when normal food is unavailable. Thus strange objects collect in odd crevasses, along with the occasional french fry. I spent most of the day yesterday cleaning out our truck. Along with the usual items like instrument cables, a set of strings (THERE they are!), and a wad of set lists from 3 different bands, I found the following: A disturbingly sticky, and unbelievably vivid red globule of ..something. Three separate pieces of chrome plated hardware. An orange plastic butterfly hair barrette. Undeniable proof that there has been a drummer in our truck.
