Over 2065 pilgrims were airlifted from Dutse International Airport to Holy Land Medina for this year pilgrimage by Max Air from last week Saturday to today Tuesday. This was disclosed by the leader of the state delegation and also the speaker of the state assembly Hon, Adamu Ahmed Sarawa while having an interactive session with journalists at the Jigawa Airport today. Sarawa stated that so far the state is about to complete airlifting of all the pilgrims to Holy Land in Mecca adding that only one trip is now remaining on the ground which include the pilgrims from three local government in the state namely Kiri Kasamma, Birniwa and Sule Tankarkar local government respectively. The speaker further stated that the remaining pilgrims which will be airlifted include the officials of the state Hajj Delegation and members from the National Hajj Commission Explaining further he said that this year Hajj is one of the best hajj operation ever did in the state since the creation of the state. Assuring that all the pilgrims will be airlifted to holly land from Dutse between Thursday to Friday and he also advised the pilgrims to desist from doing anything that will tarnish the image of Jigawa state and the nation in general
