Over 60s League Golf and Dinner Twelve Sonning members ably represented our club at East Berks for this annual event. Apart from the home club we had the largest number of representatives which was duly noted by the host captain. My thanks go to all the twelve for coming forward to play in this event and keeping the profile of Sonning Golf Club prominent within our local golfing circle. John Barclay was one of the winners so many congratulations to him but it was the taking part and enjoying the company of fellow golfers from our league which really won the day. Our twelve representatives were: John Barclay, John Mead, Jim Wickett, Alan Watts, Mike Reeves, Martin Dalton, Richard Jones, Bill Porter, David Valentine, Peter Coe, Ken Stevens and Derry Lewis.
